Without our network of Foster Families in the Austin, San Antonio, and Houston areas, it would be impossible for us to continue our rescue efforts! We do not have a shelter where we can house dogs, so all of our Bulldogs are placed in private homes until a permanent home is found. We are ALWAYS in need of qualified foster homes. Even if you've never owned a bulldog before, if you are eager to learn, we are here to help!
Austin Bulldog Rescue ALWAYS needs families willing to open their homes to bulldogs in need, even on a short term basis. If you are outside our foster area (not located in Austin, San Antonio, or Houston areas), you can still sign up to become an emergency foster for dogs who urgently need a place to go while awaiting transport to their longterm foster home.
ABR also needs folks who are willing to open their homes to dogsit for our foster families who leave town or have other commitments. Being able to keep a bulldog close to our network of voluntneers who can help with medical care or facilitate adopter meet and greets is so important! This is also a great way to get to know bulldogs and volunteer with us, even if you have a busy schedule!
