Walker

Walker is the epitome of a goofy, couch potato bulldog.  He's so adorably beefy, and we are smitten with all of his rolls and fat paws.  And luckily, Walker loves having humans squish and hug him.  This guy would be thrilled to spend all day napping peacefully with his tongue peeking out.  He likes to take things low and slow, and isn't about to rush through the day (or rush anywhere, for that matter).  Walker is one of those dogs who doesn't necessarily need regular walks around the block to be happy, and would be content with a nice yard to nap in.  He's currently living with another male bulldogs, and has lived with females before, too.  He's got a very forward doggy greeting style and prefers to stick his wrinkly, blockhead right up in his new friend's business to get a few good sniffs in.   So, it's probably best if he ends up with a dog friend in his forever home that's ok with this.  Walker is very gentle and sweet, but can be a bit of a bowling ball sometimes.  We think he'd be best in a home with kids he can't inadvertantly knock over.

Walker arrived at ABR with lots of missing fur due to not being on prevention and insufficient care for his bulldog allergies.  He will always need regular medicated baths and proper cleaning of his folds, going forward, to prevent this from happening again.  Walker's forever family should also make sure to keep an eye on his seasonal allergies, and feed him bulldog-appropriate food, ideally without chicken.  Luckily, Walker thoroughly enjoys baths and doesn't mind extra pampering.
