Chloe

Hi! My Name Is Chloe

Chloe was surrendered at the shelter because she wasn’t a good guard dog and didn’t alert to people at the door. For some, that would be a huge plus! I haven’t seen her be reactive to anything - she pretty much ignores dogs, cats, and people both on walks and that she sees through the window other than giving a little tail wag.

Chloe is great on a leash. Not food motivated but loves affection. I have started working with her on hand signals as she has no real training beyond potty training.

She absolutely loves toys and affection. She wants to play for hours and will try every method to entice my dog to play with her, including bonking her on the head with a toy. She is difficult to redirect when she is trying to get my dog to play and doesn’t have a lot of play manners when another dog isn’t interested but she has not shown a single sign of aggression. My dog has started hiding behind me because Chloe doesn't understand when she is rejecting play. It isn't the best fit for my dog.

Chloe did well crated at the shelter but has really struggled when crated at my home. Chloe will scream in the crate so having a house would be ideal while she is learning the ropes. As I live in an apartment, this is not a great fit.

I have fallen in love with this girl and wish she was a better fit for my home. I really want her to go somewhere as special as she is. She will bring someone a lot of love, laughter, and joy.
