And his abbreviated life is something to be valued and celebrated. ?
Sure, we are still mad as hell that Turkey won't have a long life, but we are going to focus on the positive and find him the home he deserves to call his own.
In the very short time that we have known him, Turkey has actually managed to restore just a bit of our faith in the good in this world, thanks to the outpouring of love that he has received and the kindness of the humans who have stepped in to save him. Each has gone above and beyond to show him how good his life is.
Thank you for teaching us to seize the day, Turkey.
We will appreciate every sunrise and sunset just that little bit more and cherish every moment with you.
