Trixie is still recovering from a lifesaving, emergency amputation surgery after being hit by a car. She is going through physical therapy to make sure she feels comfortable with her new normal, and is learning to walk on three legs in a way that is sustainable for a bulldog, long term. We are also still assessing her personality and behavior, to see what sort of home would be best for her. As she heals, Trixie is becoming more loving, open to touch and grooming, and more relaxed. She is currently living with another calm bulldog, and is doing well having a companion with this personality.
