Tater is a very special boy who has had a rough start in life. He was born with two major genetic issues that ABR will be helping with to improve his quality of life, including repairing a massive cleft palate in his mouth. But if you met Tater, you probably would never know anything about him was different, even when he hasn't felt his best with his ABR foster family. This guy LOVES his humans and snuggling up to them, and he has flourished as he's learned the best parts of being a loved part of a family.
We don't know a ton about Tater's past, but we think he might've missed some very important socialization early on in his life during important development stages. He is sometimes easily startled and definitely needs some positive encouragement to feel more confident in new situations. But once he's comfortable, his amazingly happy and derpy bully personality really comes out! It is so very worth the extra care and love to see this guy blossom and feel joy.
