Stan is pretty convinced he's a lapdog. Nope, doesn't matter that he's 70lbs, this guy's gotta snuggle! Stan was found in horrible shape in rural Caldwell County, dangerously underweight and completely hairless. After some TLC, his beautiful brindle coat has almost nearly grown back, and he's starting to get some bulldog squish! Stan's foster family adores how loving and affectionate this guy is. During bath time, he'll rest his head on your shoulder for comfort, since they aren't his favorite. He loves hugs and putting his smushy face in your lap for scratches. Stan is also really starting to enjoy playing with toys and other dogs! He likes wrestling and being silly with dogs who enjoy playing with boys his size, but is very gentle when he meets smaller dogs. We'd recommend he go to a home with dogs who wouldn't mind a 70lb playmate, but he'll do just fine out and about meeting other pups. Stan can go to a home with older children, since he is still learning that he's not the size of a poodle.
