Selma hasn’t lived a cushy life up until now, but things have been much different for her since coming to ABR! She and her sister Patricia were pulled from a small shelter together, and spend their days napping in the cushiest beds, eating the most delicious snacks, and then retiring to a different cushy bed to nap for some more time. We’re not sure if Selma would do well with another dog besides her sister, but if anything, she would prefer a calm dog friend who appreciates the slow life as much as she does. Selma definitely has a bit of a sassy streak, and will let you know what her boundaries are. She will need a retirement home with no stairs, since she has arthritis and will need to remain on pain medication to manage that. We’d also prefer she go to an adults only home, since she prefers not to be startled. Our very favorite thing about this sweet girl are her bursts of energy, which are usually accompanied by lots of hilarious grunts and breakdancing.
