Roxy Blue is the most velvety soft, happy smush with the best wiggle butt! She loves everyone she meets instantly, and is happiest being hugged by her friends (don't be shy!). Roxy was so very loved and cared for in a previous life, and unfortunately, her previous owner passed away. We know they did a wonderful job keeping her happy and healthy, especially since she was so thrilled to leave the shelter she ended up in and was thrilled to make some kind new friends who she realized had her best interests at heart. Roxy Blue takes a minute to get used to her new home and routine, given all she's been through. But if her forever family establishes a good routine and sticks to it, RB will settle in and relax, realizing she isn't going anywhere. After the trauma she's been through, Roxy just desperately wants to feel safe and secure and know the humans she love will never leave her again. And trust us, the snuggles you'll get once she does feel that way and the soulful look in her eyes...so very worth the patience and time she needs.
Once Roxy Blue settles in, she's SUCH a happy go luck girl! She loves going for walks and meeting new people and would thrive in a home that has a backyard she can run around in. Right now, she is working on not nibbling on her friends and calm polite greetings so we'd recommend older children, while she's perfecting these skills.
