Rose πŸš—

Hi! My Name Is Rose πŸš—

We're happy to tell you that Rose πŸš— has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Rose was pulled from a small shelter where she was a volunteer favorite, and we quickly realized why!Β  She is so sweet and stunning, it's almost hard to believe she is real.Β  Rose LOVES kids and has the best time playing with them in the backyard during the day and snuggling up to them at night.Β  She is a very loyal girl who loves with every fiber of her being and cares deeply for her humans.Β  Rose is also very very polite.Β  She is housetrained, crate trained, and more than happy to retire to her bed when it's time for lights out.Β  Even when she wants attention, she will lightly tap you with her paw or rest her sweet face on your knee or something nearby to ask for love.Β  Rose takes comfort in routine -- having a comfortable home base, predictable meal times, and potty breaks around the same times each day.Β  Rose would do best in a home with dogs smaller than her, but she had shelter friends in the play yard who were bigger.Β Β

Rose is available for adoption to qualified adopters in the contiguous 48 states.Β  ABR would prefer approved applicants to come to TX to meet their match, with their family and dog(s), but we recognized this isn’t always possible.Β  In such cases, approved adopters should be willing to participate in video interviews with the entire family to meet their match virtually. Adopters must also provide a transportation plan for their new family member that will require approval from the ABR Board.Β  Β This needs to be paid for by the adopter, in addition to the dog’s adoption fee.Β  Adopters need to also be prepared arrange safe transport back to the Austin area, should adoption not work out.Β  Please be prepared to provide vet and personal references in your application for us to contact when considering your family.
