Pepper and her French Bulldog sister Salt have always lived together, as far as we know. Pepper definitely takes cues from Salt to understand what is safe and who is a friend. Once she realizes you're a good human she's not afraid to throw her weight around to bump her sis out of the way if she wants some love! And speaking of weight, Pepper is working on slimming down so that she's more comfortable getting around on her bulldog joints. We hope her forever family continues to work on maintaining a healthy weight for Pepper, which should be easy since she isn't picky about food and loves going on walks with her sister. One of our favorite things about Pepper is her unique, chubby little tail. Her foster says it's constantly wagging, especially when exploring the yard and trotting around the neighborhood with Salt. Pepper also seems to be friendly, though not as engaging, with dogs other than her sister. She is tempted to follow her sister's lead and chase the resident cats, but is more easily redirected if foster mom spots her getting "that look" on her face.
