Orson arrived in rescue after being found with a large wound on his neck, the stomach number tattoo showing he’d been used as a puppy mill type breeder dog, and feeling very scared.
Once he settled into his foster home, Orson could decompress and start learning that people can be nice.
Now that Orson is feeling physically better, he has been able to start emotionally healing, too. Every day, he blossoms into a happier and more confident boy.
Orson does well with the dogs in his foster home and ignores the cats. He is obsessed with toys and likes to pull every single toy out of the toy box. He sits nicely for treats and meal time. He sleeps nicely through the night and takes his meds like a very good boy.
In a forever home, Orson would thrive in an all-adult home that lead with kindness and calm (a home with kids is too hectic and isnt the environment he needs)
Orson has come such a long way in a short time and we are so proud of our adorable and very sweet boy!
Dogs like Orson are why we do what we do. Seeing this boy grow in trust and joy is so rewarding!
