Oreo is deliciously sweet itty bitty pittie perfection! Pictures don't do justice to how tiny this guy really is! Oreo is one of those special sorts of boys who gets along swimmingly with just about everyone he meets. He loves all people and kids and is awesome with other dogs! We've even known him to be in situations where other dogs were not welcoming his company, and Oreo was still the nicest, calmest boy. He's also very snuggly and prefers to be held like a baby while he snoozes on the couch with you (even if you've just met him). There really is something incredible about his joyful energy and being around him that just makes your whole day brighter.
Oreo came to ABR after he was dropped off at a vet in urgent need of lifesaving surgery. Before that, he was living on the streets of San Antonio, surviving as as stray. You would think all of these things would potentially have a negative effect on him, but he's still so very trusting and happy to make new people and dog friends. He's also housetrained and kennel trained, too. Oreo is working with his foster family right now on not pulling during walks, but since he's so eager to please his humans, he's catching on quickly.
