Onyx

Onyx is a roly poly boy who loves to play ball and hang with his dog friends.  He was a major favorite at doggy daycare, in a prior home, and we can see why!  He's got the silliest personality and the goofiest bulldog expressions with the most adorable underbite.  Onyx would love a home where he can have another likeminded playmate who doesn't mind some bully bumper cars or jowl flapping at home.  He also love toys, so we think a dog who doesn't mind sharing those is the best match.  Onyx is currently working on crate training and understanding how glorious a dark, cozy nap cave can be.  We hope his forever family will continue to create positive experiences in a crate for him by giving him tasty stuff to chew on and relax every once and awhile.  Onyx can be sensitive about new people grooming his folds and cleaning his ears, and that's ok.  Just like humans, consent is important to dogs.  We would like his forever family to remember to offer treats and use positive reinforcement when grooming Onyx to earn his trust so that he feels comfortable with these experiences.  Because of this, we think an adults only home is best for him.
