It doesn't take much to make Ned happy. All he really needs are some kind humans and a soft bed to snooze on, and he's a happy guy! He is especially drawn to the kiddos in his foster home, and loves when everyone is around the house so he can spend the day following the around and keeping and eye on what they are doing. (And, even better if he gets some pets and kisses from them!) Ned's eyes and joints aren't what they used to be, so we think the most comfortable retirement home for him would be one with a yard and with minimal (if any) stairs to traverse. He's well-behaved on the leash, just a little timid since he can't always see where he's headed. Ned is currently living with a few dogs, of differeing sizes, and does best with the slow and lazy ones. Sure, he COULD hold his own in a bout of wrestling, but he'll be feelin' it for days after! We think Ned would do best in a home with kids 6+ who can understand not to push and prod him in spots that are a little achy (like his hips). He is also pretty vocal and will clearly let you know with some BOOF BOOF BOOFs when he is not getting the pets he deserves, which may scare a very little one.
Ned's forever family should be prepared to provide for his senior bulldog needs by keeping him on the appropriate meds and supplements to help with joint pain and aging eyes and ears.
