Nancy

Nancy is one of the most affectionate little meatballs we know!  She loves all people and has the best excited wiggle when she sees any new human friends when out and about.  Besides pets and roll rubs, Nancy's other love language is tennis balls.  It's pretty funny watching her roly poly self chase after one and seeing it disappear into chubby jowls when she finally gets it.  And as far as manners go, Nancy has already aced potty training and she thoroughly enjoys having quiet 'me time' in her crate.

Nancy spent her entire life as a breeder mama, without much exposure to the outside world.  Now that she has settled into her foster home, she is starting to get that putting a harness on doesn't mean she's going to a vet to get injections or have a c-section, but she is still nervous on car rides.  It also doesn't seem like Nancy had the opportunity to socialize with other dogs in positive ways, so we think she would be best as your one and only while she is getting used to so many other big, overwhelming changes in her life. We've heard that she did live happily with a cat, in a past life, but have not seen these interactions ourselves. 
Nancy takes meds that help her brain feel calm and relaxed in the world. Bulldogs are very prone to OCD type behaviors (and our sensitive girl is one) and the meds help Nancy live her best life. Any adopter must keep her on those meds for her to be able to continue having a successful and happy life.
