Nala (what we call her don’t know original)

Nala is sweet, energetic and friendly. She seems to really like other dogs, but my dog is not friendly and growls at her- she does not growl back or get aggressive with him, but we have kept them separated. I have teens and a 10yr old and she is great with them- my oldest is on the spectrum and she will practically get in her lap and let her pet her over and over. We feed her 2 x a day as that is my dogs' schedule. She sleeps in the kennel at night and has not had any accidents. She isn't fully in the house- we change out house and yard time with my unfriendly dog, but she does seem trained/has not had an accident in the house. She is very smart- we taught her sit in one day and are working on down and stay. I think she is very trainable. The vet could not determine if she is spayed- if spaying will help her find a forever family we will get it done- we want her to find a loving home. As I mentioned, my 6 yr old dog only gets along with humans and not other dogs- we were offering her a place to stay as a neighbor thought his friend wanted her and that did not work out. She is on an appointment list to go to the city shelter, but we would really like to find an alternative for her. She loves to fetch toys, balls, and I think she would be a great frisbee dog as she has a great leap! She did chew a pillar on the back patio, but we have given her some hooves and chew toys and have redirected her to those. Vet had estimated her around 2, but she could be a bit younger b/c energy level, but it may be the breed. She seems good on the leash- pulls a little, but behaves on walks.
