Mouse

Hi! My Name Is Mouse

We're happy to tell you that Mouse has a new furever home.

Mouse is the most jovial guy whose big smile lights up a room the minute he waddles in. He just wants to be friends with everyone he meets and is always happy to be included in the fun. Mouse was found as a stray in Albuquerque, and taken to the same shelter he was adopted out of in 2018. When he arrived, shelter staff was shocked to find he had gained 60lbs and looked like he hadn't been cared for in years. They attempted to contact Mouse's owner to reunite them, but had no luck. We're pretty sure, based on his condition when he was picked up, that this guy was living outside for a few years. Mouse is now making up for lost time with his very own (massive) cushy bed, wonderful human and dog friends in his foster home, and a small foster sister who he adores. Mouse needs to go to a home where he won't need to traverse stairs, since all the extra weight he's put on over the last few years has done a number on his joints. He definitely enjoys (short) walks outside, and his new family should keep this as a part of his routine since he is a very social boy. Mouse also is smitten with his small, senior doggy foster brother. Although they don't play, it's evident he enjoys the company of another fur friend in his home.
