Moses

Smart boy Moses walked himself right up to the doors of a vet's office right before a winter storm here in Austin. When no owner came forward to claim him, ABR was thrilled to get the opportunity to take him in. We could tell right away there was something special about this guy. As it turns out, we were absolutely right about him. Moses is one of the most loving, gentle boys we've ever met. From the day he arrived at his foster home, he's had a permanent pittie smile painted on his smushy face. He adores just being super close to his human, attempting to be a lapdog, and if he really likes you he might even show you his belly. Moses would do well in a home without too many stairs, a townhome, first floor apartment, or single family home, since he has been wonderfully polite both in the home and on the leash. He is a fan favorite at his foster's local dog park since he is the most polite playmate (even with small dogs)! Everyone is always excited to see Moses! Momo has done wonderfully with children he has met as well. He loves playing dress up, having tea parties, and taking naps with his favorite little friends and is the most patient, tolerant boy. We think Moses would do best in a home where he isn't left alone too often and maybe even one other calm dog. Too many doggy companions living inside a home can make him feel like there's not enough human love for Moses, though he's thrilled to have a bunch of dog playmates outside of his home. This boy is the kind of dog folks dream of finding in their local shelter -- an affectionate, handsome dreamboat.
