  1. Mona is an affectionate, curious girl who loves her humans hard.  She is most definitely a lapdog, who always wants to be as close as possible to her people.  And that’s just fine by us, given that she’s a tiny gal (only about 50lbs), as far as bulldogs go. Mona has been very easy, right from the beginning of her foster stay, with cleaning her folds and baths.  She definitely doesn’t mind, as long as she’s getting attention.  Mona has lived in a foster home with other dogs, and definitely prefers not to share her food, treats, or toys.  She got along best with the calm dog, who generally ignored her, but would really do best as the one and only queen of your household.  And really, we can’t look into those green puppydog eyes and say no to this sweet babe.  Mona does, however, do well with cats.  She most definitely would not mind having a kitty brother or sister.  Because this girl can startle easily, we’d recommend older kids, if any, in her home.  And even though she doesn’t want to share her home with another dog, she’s just fine seeing them when out and about.
