Milkshake

Milkshake is available to qualified adopters in Austin or nearby cities.  Additional $200 refundable deposit required with adoption fee, to be returned to adopter upon providing proof of spay.  All fees and deposits must be fully paid before bringing your dog home.  For puppies' health, success, and happiness, we will prioritize homes where a new puppy does not have to be crated and/or alone for a traditional work day.

Milkshake has had a rocky (road) start to her rescue story.  At 3mo she was scheduled to be surrendered to a busy shelter after already being rehomed three times.  But it seems like that owner wasn't willing to wait for her surrender appointment because they left her huddle next to a street sign in the pouring rain, which is where she was thankfully found by a good samaritan.  In her ABR foster home, Milkshake jumped into playtime and snuggles right away!  You'd never know she'd been through so much in such a short time!  She loves making mischief with her Frenchie foster brother and is learning a lot about doggy boundaries and body language from her English Bulldog foster brother (who isn't big on play).  

Milkshake has had zero consistency in her life, up until this point, so her forever family should be ready to work on the basics, when it comes to manners and training.  Like any puppy, she'll need to understand how to let you know when she has to potty and that not everything she finds is a toy to chew on.  Her foster family is diligently working on these things, and Milkshake will need her forever family to pick up where they left off giving her positive reinforcement and fear-free based guidance.
