Sweet Maynard was at death's door when we rescued him, and through the power of love, some good old-fashioned vet care, and TLC, he made a miraculous recovery. (You can find his story on our socials. It was a big one)
Learning all the things about a life like a normal loved dog has taken time. We are grateful to see him physically and emotionally get past so many hurdles.
Maynard only knew neglect and starvation, so his body and mind has needed time to adjust and trust that life isn’t scary. The predictability of kindness, and structure have done wonders.
Maynard can life successfully with a dog friend and has especially seemed to enjoy the smaller dogs in his foster home.
His favorite things are, going on walks, meal time, and cuddles on the couch with his humans. (He is best in an adult only home after all he went through)
