Leonidas is one of those unique frenchies who is laid back and calm in just about any situation. We love how he fit seamlessly into his foster pack of dogs big, small, young, and old. And this guy loves to cuddle everyone -- fur and human friends. Leonidas is not currently living with a cat, but he has in the past and been very lovely to them, as well. We really would like him to go to a home where dogs are picked up and hugged, allowed to be on the furniture, and maybe sometimes on the bed, since he thrives on snuggles.
Leonidas came to ABR suffering with some serious allergies we think that moving him out of South Texas has drastically improved that, but trust us when we say that this boy has tried everything under the sun to get some relief. He will likely have flareups in your home, so we would like him to go to a family who is diligent about medicated baths, wipes, etc. and can get him vet care when over the counter treatments aren't helping. And it certainly helps that Leo loves his spa days and the extra attention from his vet friends, as well.
Due to Leonidas's environmental allergies, we would prefer to adopt him to a family around ATX or north of ATX. Other applicants will be considered, if they have a solid plan for allergy management and good vet references.
