Kermit

Kermit is available to approved adopters in Austin or surrounding areas, only.

Kermit is just a nice boy, in every single way.  We don't know his exact mix of bully/bulldog, but we can definitely see what some breeder was trying to achieve with his low and wide body type.  And sadly, he it's likely very uncomfortable for him to move around, especially given the state of neglect he was in when he arrived at ABR.  But, despite this, this dog truly leads with love and trust and welcomes every new human and dog into his life with open arms.  He is ready to snuggle up in bed and sleep in your arm nook on night 1 and feels happiest with other dog friends by his side.  He's even considering playing with the puppy in his foster home!

Kermit is one of those special dogs who just wants to please you and make you happy.  So, he'd probably never let you know if he's in pain or not feeling well.  Because of this, we want to make sure his forever family is taking the best care possible of his senior needs -- ensuring he is on a good diet and joint supplement, avoids using stairs, and doesn't jump on or off furniture.  We also think older kids are best for him, to ensure everyone is respectful of our little old man.  Kermit is so so so wonderful, and you'll see once you meet him why we want to take extra care to find a family who wants to love and care for him as much as we do!
