Kaiya

Kaiya was found as a stray, by a shelter that is a friend of ABR, in horrid condition. She clearly had multiple litters, was malnourished, and heartworm positive. It's evident that she was never treated as someone's pet. Despite this, she was affectionate, thankful, and loving to everyone that she met after being picked up. Her foster mom chose her name because means "forgiveness." She loves all people and hasn't met a stranger yet! Peanut butter treats, bubble baths, and squeaky toys are also becoming fast favorites as she gets to experience life as a loved family member for the first time. Kaiya has a ways to go before being medically ready for her furever family, but we promise she's worth the wait.
