Kaia

Kaia is such a calm easygoing girl -- we're smitten!  She arrived at ABR in a very neglected state, and it's clear that she's been used for breeding most of her life.  So, it's amazing how trusting and loving she is with humans of all ages.  Kaia is incredibley gentle with her small human foster siblings and also loves meeting their friends.  We think she'd do just fine in a home with kids that like to have friends over, as long as everyone is respectful and kind to her.  Kaia also loves a good den.  One of her favorite spots in her foster home is her kennel with her fluffy bed stuffed in, especially when foster mom puts a blanket over the top and makes things all dark and cozy.  Kaia does well with other dogs in her home, and while she isn't much of a playmate, she does enjoy their company.  However, we don't think she'd do well with cats, based on her interactions with some of the outdoor and neighborhood cats around her foster home. 

Kaia's bulldog needs were not met for a long time before coming to ABR.  She will always need medicated baths, allergy care, regular ear cleanings, and eye care, as well as proper bulldog nutrition to ensure she stays happy and healthy.
