Juno

Juno is heartworm positive, and will be receiving treatment in Austin.  She can go home to an adopter before or during that treatment to bond and recover, but her adopter must be in Austin or nearby.  

We love how Juno is equal parts sass and snuggle.  She always wants to be as close as possible to her humans, and we'd describe her cuddling style as "barnacle."  She's going to go where she wants, when she wants, climb on the furniture like a tiny mountain goat, and play when she decides it's time.  It's Juno's world, and we're all just living in it!  Juno is currently sharing her foster home with a few other dogs, and while she isn't a typical rough playing bulldog, she does like wrestle and jowl flap (in a very dainty, princesslike fashion, of course) with her fur foster siblings.  She will definitely remind them, sometimes, when a favorite chewy or toy belongs to her but also enjoys snuggling up to them for a nice nap.  Juno is still very young and needs some help with basic manners, as well as feeling more secure about sharing space, toys, and humans with other dogs.  We would like her to go to a forever family who will continue to use positive reinforcement to help Juno become the very best girl.  Luckily, she LOVES making her humans happy and feeds off their praise, so we think she will be a quick study!  Although she is not currently living with kids, we think Juno would be best with older kids or adults-only.  And Juno has been cat tested.  Trust us, your cat won't like Juno.
