Junebug has been experiencing SO many new things since coming to ABR! She lived in cramped quarters as a breeder odog with another female for her entire life, barely being let outside to potty. So, needless to say, having a few cozy beds to choose from, lots of human attention and love, and getting out and about to sniff the neighborhood are all brand new to her. Junebug's foster has done an amazing job of opening up her world at Juney's pace. She's discovered that she loves toys, especially ones as fuzzy and squishy as she is! She especially loves sitting on the back porch, watching the world go by and smelling all the smells from her safe space. And she has THE best butt wiggles (well, full body wiggles) when her favorite people are around!
Juney is still learning that car rides and walks around the block can be fun and doesn't mean she has to go somewhere scary. And her foster will help show you all the work she's done so you can pick up right where they've left off! But we do think a home with a yard would be best for this little one, for now. We also think older kids, if any, who understand Junebug's needs would be best. Junebug used to live with another female bulldog, who she got along with, but right now, with so much change, she is best as your one and only pet. She may have potential to have a fur friend in the future, however, once you've gotten to know her well, and she trusts that you have her best interests at heart.
