Jem was a diamond in the rough who just needed a little TLC, when she came to ABR! It seems like she'd suffered with a pretty horrible skin infection at a very young age and received not only no treatment or care for herself, but also was denied basic proper nutrition. She may always have some funny marks or lumps on her, as a result, but we think she's just perfect the way she is! Jem is easily one of our funniest dogs -- she can keep herself entertained for hours tossing around a toy and catching it. But what Jem would really love is a dog friend or a few to play with in her forever home. Jem is very very affectionate, too. She loves to be snuggled, cuddled, and definitely doesn't mind bathing or skin treatments, since this is just more attention for Jem! Jem is not currently living with kids, but we think kids 6+ would be perfect for her, if any.
