For our gorgeous merle bebes, the fall-out seems to be gastrointestinal.
Jackson is ANOTHER medical Frenchie suffering from colitis, dumped when we guess someone realized he couldn't be monetized.
His furever family will have to be willing to follow all guidance from ABR on his care plan, serving his needs to ensure he can stay healthy and happy in his life outside of rescue.
Now that we've covered the business, here's why he's going to be worth the effort (straight from his foster mama):
Jackson is a total sweetheart with some young, bouncing energy and curiosity who likes to be near you, especially for napping.
He LOVES meeting people and loves kiddos.
He is smart and very curious.
He can probably live with kids of all ages. He's a little bouncy, but at 21 pounds, he's not doing a lot of knocking people over. He "libbles" some, which is like a nibble but with zero teeth involved (just lips). He can live with dogs, but they must be patient and willing to accept a bouncy ball that might not read the cues.
He's about 85% house-trained as long as you watch for his signals.
Best of all, this little guy LOVES a fuzzy blanket to keep his lanky legs and nose warm. He will keep moving his nap spot for sunshine warmth and retucking into his human overnight before going back to his soft snoring.
Be ready to keep him wrapped up like a burrito and, for a lifetime of Frenchie love!
