Howie was born with two deformed front legs, but otherwise, is a normal puppy. He is looking for a forever family who will consider the longterm care required to keep him comfortable -- joint supplements, avoiding stairs, not letting him jump on and off high places, and no rough handling. His specialist advised that he may grow out of his deformities or he may not, so his forever family will need to work with a vet throughout his life to curb any pain before it affects him. But as far as Howie is concerned, he's just a regular mischievous bulldog puppy who loves to be held, play with his dog friends, and explore the backyard!
All Austin Bulldog Rescue puppies are available to approved adopters in Austin or surrounding cities. If not in ATX, it's up to the discretion of the ABR Board to determine if an exception can be made. Kids must be 10yo+ to be considered. Adoption fee listed includes a $200 refundable deposit, which will be returned to the adopter upon presenting proof of spay or neuter. ABR will also sponsor the puppy’s spay/neuter, provided adopter uses one of our approved vets. Adoption fees must be paid in full before bringing your puppy home. Unfortunately, we cannot offer payment plans.
