HoneyBee

Hi! My Name Is HoneyBee

I'm Available

HoneyBee earned her name because of her gorgeous, striking brindle stripes and her sugary sweet nature.  Her signature move is dissolving all of her bones and melting in your arms or your elbow nook or squeezed into that small space between you and the crack of the couch the second she realizes there's an opportunity for cuddles.  We typcially advise fosters take things slow and feel out how ok their dog is with touch first.  But it's the opposite for HB.  She'll wiggle into your home, pair with you via bluetooth, and remain attached for as long as you'll let her.  Honeybee's second loves are being outside, snoozing in the grass and nosing around a squeaky toy.  She's not one of those dogs that's bossy about wanting to play, though.  If there's a fun toy around, and you're in the mood, she's happy to have a game of fetch.

HoneyBee would be best in a home, longterm, with another calm female dog who is ok with sharing her humans and cuddles.  She'll be a very sad girl if she can't sit on the couch with you or if another pet is not willing to let you give her attention.  HB was saved from a very bad living situation where she wasn't able to have many positive interactions with people.  So now that she is in the company of kind humans, she never wants to let that go.  HoneyBee would be totally content being your one and only girl, though, given that's just more love for her to soak up.
