Garfunkel is a big smushy bear and YES please do give him all the bear hugs! Seriously, this guy is so very affectionate and loves people so much, that he's even thrilled to go to the vet and be poked and examined. And yes, that absolutely includes bathing and grooming -- wipe his folds, clean his ears, rub down his bear paws, he loves it all! Garfunkel also does great on a leash, and will happily mosey along wiggling his nub excitedly to meet new people. He's definitely not going to be a runner or a puller. He also knows sit, shake and lay down, but "stay" is a little more challenging for him (especially when delicious snacks are involved). Garfunkel would do best in a home with older kids, because he does truly believe that all 90lbs of him belongs leaning against your leg or in your lap. We'd also prefer for him to go to a home where he does not need to navigate a ton of stairs, since this could be pretty hard on his joints as he gets older. Lastly, Garfunkel is fine with another calm dog in the house who can give him his space.
