Franklin is a social guy who's down for just about anything. Wanna do zoomies in the backyard with the other dogs? GREAT! Wanna head to a brewery and get lots of attention and pets?? YEP. Wanna nap all day with your senior dog friends and play fetch with the humans in the evening? OKAY YES DEFINITELY. He's pretty good at 'reading the room' and 'feeling out the vibe' to match his energy accordingly, minus a day or two of excited humping when he gets to meet new people (we all have vices!!). Franklin settles in quickly, though, and loves to just be a part of what's going on. Franklin was found in the Rio Grande Valley hanging out at a shopping center trying to make friends. He was skin and bones, and it was clear his poor eyes had been neglected. He has some longterm damage from that neglect, but overall, can see and get around just fine. He's had a few eye surgeries to address cherries, and will need to remain on eye drops for the rest of his life. He also developed the most adorable habit of nibbling on any new thing he encounters to learn about what it is, from when his eyesight was much worse. So, it's not that Franklin ISN'T cat-friendly, per se....it's more that your cat must be ok with Franklin nibbling on him for a little bit as he settles into your home.
