Flounder is still a young puppy who is finally getting the chance to be mischievous and play with other puppy friends. He has a neurological condition that causes his head to tilt slightly, and for him to wobble off balance sometimes. But this definitely doesn't stop him or make him more cautious about running and playing! Flounder loves splashing around in his baby pool and playing with toys. He also is learning to wrestle with his bulldog foster sister and is always curious what the cat in the house is up to. In his foster home, Flounder is also working on being a brave boy, when it comes to meeting new people and going to new places. He is realizing he doesn't need to be shy around new friends, and we hope his forever family will continue to show him new experiences. Because of this, we think that older kids are best for him, if any. Lastly, because his condition can cause him to tip over or lean when he walks, we would prefer he go to a single family home without stairs for him to navigate.
Flounder still needs to have his neurology appointment so we can determine what long term care looks like for him and his adopter. He will come with his very own harness that has a handle to help guide him when he gets off track.
