Fiona Aka Fifi

Let me start by saying this home is not conducive for a pet of any kind. My niece had recently moved back in with her mother then unfortunately passed away October 7. There is a special needs adult in the home that gives us cause for concern for the safety and well-being of Fiona.
I can't take her because Fiona doesn't do well with other Female dogs. There were two other dogs in the home she lived in with my niece before moving back to her mama's. One was a gigantic male Mastif and the other was a small male dog.
I believe she has been fixed and is about 8 years old, but her nails need some serious care and attention. One of them is starting to curl.
She has the sweetest personality of any dog I've ever met except of course for my Princess. She does try to get through the fence to the neighbors Female dogs and sounds ferocious. I'm not sure if she just doesn't like them or feels like she has to protect them. She was used to the country where she would roam around with her other dogs and the neighbors ducks and giant pig and multiple horses.
I've not heard her Bark or show any aggression towards another human, adult or child since I met her.
She loves to sit in the sun in the yard but she does hunt the rabbits and actually caught one the other day.
She really is a sweetheart. Wants love and attention all of the time.
She doesn't appear to be allergic to any food so far but one of her ears was itching her today.
I'm only here at my sister's for a few more days and don't feel comfortable leaving her unsupervised for her own safety.
Please find her a loving home. She has lost her Mama and is feeling sad. She watches the door for her all the time.
