Faye

There aren't enough words to adequately describe how much we love Faye.  She's the sort of special dog that comes along once in a lifetime, who will truly make some lucky family better because she's a part of their lives.  She is so loving, caring, gentle and compassionate -- she truly brings out the best in us!  Faye started off very timid of her new surroundings when she first arrived. It seemed like she was used to being shut away most of the day, with minimal interaction with humans, except to produce more and more litters.  Faye has since shaken off the nerves and is FULL of life and personality!  Our favorite thing is watching her potato body roll around on the floor kicking her toothpick legs in the air while she happily snorts.  She even does the most hilarious 33-point turn zoomies around the house!  Faye hasstarted playing with toys and especially loves squeaky stuffies.  She really enjoys the company of other dogs and would always prefer to be snuggling next to one of her pals.  Faye isn't currently living with kids in her foster home, but she's so calm and gentle, we think she'd do great with them.  This girl LOVES hugs and kisses.  

Faye will always need a little extra tlc to clean her nubby ears, given that they were chopped off at some point in her life before coming to ABR.  We also recommend the same wrinkle  and allergy care for her that we do for  bulldogs.  Our vets estimate that Faye is about 7-8yo, so we recommend she remain on a good joint supplement to keep her spry and feeling good for the rest of her life.
