Ellard does not have a mean or temperamental bone in his body, and he is literally the sweetest boy who just wants to be getting endless amounts of affection from anyone that he can. You can always tell he's happy because he actually gets the most adorable little content smile on his face. He's a tiny dude and would really appreciate a home where he can go places with his humans. Ellard has a spinal condition that is totally manageable, but does cause him to have occasional pain flare ups. Given that fact, he'd prefer not to live with other dogs, but he's a totally nice boy meeting them out and about. Besides, why should Ellard have to share his sleeping spot at your feet with anyone else? Ellard has met cats and is very curious, but generally doesn't mind them. We think he'd be find with a kitty companion, so long as that cat is given plenty of opportunities to get some space if his curiosity is too much for them. As far as phsyical limitations go, Ellard is just a normal frenchie -- he shouldn't be allowed to jump off or on furniture to minimize his pain, and is fine with being picked up and carried. We also think older kids who are aware of these things would be wonderful for him, since as far as Ellard is concerned: the more love, the better!
