Egg is settling into his foster home nicely and is proving to be a perfect, stately older gentleman. He's polite; he loves food and will do pretty much anything for it! This, paired with his smartness, has made him a fast learner. He sleeps through the night in his room and tells you when he needs to go potty (oh boy, will he let you know;). He's a dream on a leash and LOVES every new human he meets. He's basically the ideal home-body bulldog companion, but he also loves a car ride, so he will happily hang while you drive through anything.
He was found wandering down a tollway in this Texas Summer heat, needing a lot of medical care, basically, the WORST, most unfair place for any senior doggo to land. His savior contacted us, and the rest is history.
As a senior, Egg will need soft spots to sleep, and family members (both four-legged and two) who understand that he won't want to be manhandled. He doesn't seem to know that he's not a tiny boi, so while he's gentle enough to live with kiddos, we think ones big enough not to be knocked over would be best. He will need all the typical bulldog care plus all the necessary supplements and meds to help keep him comfortable into his twilight years. Our good Egg deserves his fairy tale ending.
Eggs perfect home: he'd love a single-family home without stairs, a relaxed dog friend, and older (12+), chill kiddos for extra pats.
