Effie Crinkle Cakes is such an incredibly special girl. The story of how she came to ABR is horrific, and truly one of the worst cases of abuse we've ever seen. It's a miracle she survived and even moreso that she still trusts humans! Effie can be a little shy at first, so she needs some time to warm up to new people and situations. Once she does, she's the most snuggly and playful girl, who loves to chew on tasty snacks. Effie tends to nibble on her human friends when she gets really excited, so we think older kids would be best. We also think that due to the amount of trauma she's been through, it's better to be around older children, if any, who understand how to respect her space and not overwhelm her. Effie is currently living with other dogs in her foster home, and enjoys their company for snuggles, but definitley needs a slow introduction to her fur friends. And as far as cats go, she seems totally indifferent. We're not sure she even knows what they are!
