Dinky is all about girl power, that femine energy, and wants to join your "ladies who brunch" group! She really blossoms in the presence of her ladygang and is all about the snuggles and silliness. Her foster mom loves how itty bitty she is, especially when she curls up into a little wrinkly ball in her elbow nook. She's also an amazing leash walker and has been a model houseguest, in terms of learning potty training and being a super good girl when no one is home.
But it seems like, at some point, a male figure was very unkind to poor Dinky. She's very wary of men, and assumes immediately that any man is there to hurt her or foster mom. So, that said, Dinks would do best in a female-only household or with a very gentle, calm, and patient man willing to put in the work (and the cut up hotdogs) to earn her trust over time. Dinky doesn't have an issue when seeing men out and about, she'd just prefer they don't try to pet or touch her (same, Dinks...same). In that same chord, we also don't think kids are right for her, at this time. Dinky is currently living with another dog, and they're taking things slow, in terms of full-time integration. She would be thrilled to be your one and only pet and have aaaall the love and attention, but has potential to live with another calm, friendly dog who is ok with sharing their couch and humans.
