Daphne is SUCH a ray of sunshine!!! She is always in the best mood and happy to be a part of whatever you're doing, despite what her occasional pouty face might seem to say. It took barely any time for this girl to settle in and feel comfortable in her foster home. She's so very social and loves humans, that she was happy to have the attention and love from her new friends. Daphne always turns heads when she's out and about, and is thrilled when new people stop and say hi to pet her. And if someone isn't petting, her she will gently rest her smushy face on them to remind them how important giving her head scratches are. Daphne is currently living with two other dogs in her foster home and definitely prefers to spend time in the company of calm dog friends. She prefers to play fetch and tug with people. And while she doesn't have any kids in her foster family, she's always so gentle and polite with new people, we think she'd do just fine in a home with kiddos!
Due to long, untreated glaucoma, Daphne may require surgery to remove one of her eyes. She is currently available to adopters in the Austin area, since her specialty vet will be Austin.
