Crosby's life before coming to ABR was not great, and you can tell he fully appreciates every single second of how he's treated now. This boy LOVES to be loved. He wants to be close to his humans, get all the hugs, and is more than happy to be bathed and have his folds wiped. And that's actually how this boy is right away with everyone he meets! Crosby isn't much for toys and playing yet, but that could change as he really starts to realize he can fully let his guard down and be silly. Right now, he is more than content napping all day in different cozy spots, following you around and curiously seeing what you're up to, and going for the occasional trot around the neighborhoods.
Crosby had a pretty negative experience with a bigger dog before coming to rescue, so he's been in a foster home as an only dog, in order to decompress, relax, and fully heal. His shelter advocates, however, noticed that he was always SO happy to see the little dogs at the shelter, so we think he has potential to live with another dog if his forever family is willing to put in the work to help him regain his confidence. Crosby isn't currently living with kids, but we think he'd do just fine with them, given how gentle and easygoing he is.
