Cricket is one of THE most friendly dogs we've ever had at ABR! She is like that best friend that you only see once a year, but when you do, it's like you've never been apart. She is always thrilled to make new dog and people friends, but is also good at 'reading the room' and not coming on too strong. Cricket, as her name suggests, is springy and bouncy and loves to play fetch! Her love language is tennis balls, but she'd be just as pleased with anything that rolls or bounces for her to chase after. She's dog friendly, too, and would love another doggy playmate in her forever home. Cricket's foster family loved how easily she settled into their home. She is potty trained and crate trained, though she does prefer to snuggle up to her humans whenever she can. She loves to be the little spoon!
Cricket has a cleft lip, but this does not affect her health. It is not something that needs to be resolved with a procedure, since she eats and drinks just fine. We just think it makes her extra special. Cricket also has that charming "I will sometimes bark at inanimate objects that pose no threat to me but seem suspicious" trait that most bulldogs have. And she's got a BIG bark for her little size. And although she is friendly to all, we think older kids, if any, are best for Cricket's forever home.
