Clover is so stunning in person -- pictures just don't do her justice! And YES you can absolutely pet her velvety soft ears and smoosh on all her mush. She'd love that! Clover seems to enjoy the company of any human she meets. She's so sweet and gentle when it comes to any interaction with her. Clover is also fully housetrained, very, very smart, and doesn't seem to mind a crate. She LOVES having tasty things to chew on and does the funniest happy dance when she gets something extra yummy!
Clover lived in a home that she shared with two other very young bulldogs and sometimes, litters of puppies. When she came to ABR, it was clear she was OVER sharing her home and humans with pushy dogs who bulldoze her to try to play. Because of this, she prefers a laid back slow intro with new friends vs an in your face sniff fest on first meeting. She'd be best paired with one other calm dog who isn't seeking a playmate and doesn't mind sharing their people with her. But if she's your one and only princess, Clover would be thrilled with that, too. We also think she'd be great with kids, given how sweet and gentle she is.
