Claudio is powered by attention and love and the serotonin that comes from hugs and scratches from any and all humans. No really, this guy LOVES to be loved. He is one of the few dogs we've brought to rescue that felt instantly comfortable during transport and waddled in like he'd lived in his foster home for years. Claudio definitely has a silly side too. One of our favorite things is when he rolls around on the couch, happily kicking his cankles in the air making walrus noises. Claudio currently lives with a few different dogs, with different personalities, and seems to prefer calm females, overall.
Claudio spent a lot of time living outside in a former life, and now wants to soak up all the human attention he can get. Sometimes, he can get a little insecure when other dogs try to also join in the lovefest, so we hope his forever family will continue to create positive, calm experiences when everyone is together. This will help Claudio continue to learn that sharing his family doesn't mean losing them forever. And since these interactions should be consistent with the whole family, we think kids 10+, if any, are right for him.
