Clarence

Clarence is one of those dogs whose mountain of forehead wrinkles and sparkling white paws will make gasp and struggle to catch your breath when you gaze upon his beauty. He came to us from a savior who pulled him from a bad situation, but soon became overwhelmed with the amount of care he needs. We were told he is blind, but after some basic care in his foster home, we've discovered he can see really well and does just fine finding the beds, toys, and human friends he seeks out. Like most bulldogs, he will always need eye drops to keep his eyes from getting too dry. Clarence thrives in predictability and routine, preferring having his own fenced yard for regular potty breaks (although he definitely doesn’t mind a good meander around the block). He’s also a very social boy who will march right up to any dog or human to say HELLO! He’s currently living with a doggy roommate who is very calm, but does well when out and about around other personalities too. Because Clarence is a bit clumsy and will bowl right through a small dog to get to his humans or treats, we’d recommend a larger or more stout doggy companion.
