Blueberry does everything dialed up to 11. He plays hard, loves big, and snuggles in as close as possible to his favorite humans. He is a high energy guy who wants to play all day with other dogs or toys. He also has the best time getting out and about on walks or to hang out at restaurant patios. Just make sure you're ready for him to want to say hi to every dog and person who passes! Although Blueberry is energetic, he has been very gentle and good with kids 6+. In fact, he seems to gravitate to his younger human foster brother, who is more than happy to give him the pets and love he needs.
Blueberry will require soft palate surgery in order to help him breathe. He can be adopted to a family in Austin or surrounding areas before that surgery, but his family will need to be able to bring him to and from his specialist for the procedure and re-checks. His family also must be able to recognize signs of potential breathing distress before and after surgery, and keep him calm during his recovery period.
