Champ is all fun all the time! He is not able to use his back legs, and will be incontinent for the rest of his life, due to a back injury, but this busy guy doesn’t let anything stop him! Champ actually LOVES wrestling with his doggy foster siblings and playing fetch with his favorite squeakies. And YES please pick Champ up and snuggle him because he LOVES to give kisses. Champ is proof that a positive attitude can help overcome difficult obstacles. Champ's adoption counseling will include information on how to care for his diapering needs, including dietary recommendations.
Champ is available for adoption to qualified adopters in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico and Arkansas. Approved applicants must be able to come to the Austin area to meet their potential match with as much of their family as possible, including other dogs. Approved adopters must also be able to drive their adopted dog back to their new home themselves, without use of a transporter, and bring the dog back to the Austin area themselves, should adoption not work out. Please be prepared to provide vet and personal references in your application for us to contact when considering your family.
