Caramel

Caramel is a young, sweet girl with a bit of a bulldog stubborn streak. If she doesn't want to walk somewhere, good luck moving her! Luckily, she doesn't mind being handled, should you need to give her a lift to encourage her to move along (or maybe that's what Caramel wanted you to do.....). Caramel is very affectionate and snuggly, too. During the day, she will follow you around the house, politely waiting for opportunities to get some pets or love. She's not pushy, but is definitely conveniently available when you need to relax by stroking her very soft fur. What a helpful girl! Little Caramel had previously been living in a home with another dog who she did not get along with, so we'd recommend she be your one and only princess. Although she's fine out on walks if dogs keep their distance, she really doesn't want to be bothered with their nonsense, so better she gets plenty of space to enjoy herself. And because Caramel was not getting along with the dog in her previous home, she was crated most of the day. She will need a patient family who can continue to work with her on routine and structure to help her along with potty training, since she is used to needing to do all of her business in her own space. For this reason, we'd also recommend Caramel go to a home with her very own yard, which she will also use for copius amounts of sunbathing to help maintain her golden caramel color.
